Sindhu Rajasekaran is the author of the critically acclaimed books Forbidden Desire: How the British Stole India’s Queer Pasts & Queer Futures, Smashing the Patriarchy: A Guide for the 21st-century Indian Woman, So I Let It Be, and Kaleidoscopic Reflections. She holds
a doctorate in Creative Writing from the University of Strathclyde, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Global Research Award. Her work intersects critical theory, feminist historiography, and queer decolonial storytelling. Sindhu’s poetry has been published
by the Association for Scottish Literature, and her prose has appeared in reputed literary magazines and academic journals. She is curatrix at the Subjective Space and lives in Toronto, Canada.
