Karan Madhok is the author of the novel A Beautiful Decay (2022) and the non-fiction narrative Ananda: An Exploration of Cannabis in India (2024), which won the 2025 REC-Valley of Words Award. His work has appeared in Epiphany, Sycamore Review, Gargoyle, Fifty Two, Scroll.in, The Plank, The Caravan, and the anthology A Case of Indian Marvels.
Karan is the editor and co-founder of the Indian arts review, The Chakkar, and the co-founder of the Landour Literature and Arts Festival (LLAF).
