Radhika Vaz is a comedian who has trained with members of the prestigious Groundlings School in Los Angeles, as well as at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Magnet Theatre in New York City. Her one-woman comedy shows—‘Unladylike: The Pitfalls of Propriety’ and ‘Older. Angrier. Hairier.’—have played to sold-out audiences in New York, Los Angeles and all over India. She is a freelance writer and has written for Vogue, Verve, GQ, and Chicken Soup for The Indian Couples’ Soul. She has a fortnightly column, ‘Read it and weep’, which appears in the Times of India. Recently, her edgy web-series ‘Shugs & Fats’ was nominated for the 2015 IFP Gotham Awards in New York in the Breakthrough Series (Short Form) Category.
